I would like to thank Barbara Crellin and everyone who helped her in setting up and staging the Rutland Water race.

The next event is the relay championships which will take place on Saturday 5th November at Thomas Estley Community College.
Details will be sent out nearer the time. Details for the next league race will be sent out as soon as they are confirmed.

A note from Sally Hollingshead, Race Organiser

“I am aware that the Rutland Water league race clashes with the National Road Relays.
This has been unavoidable due to availability of courses and avoiding clashes with other events and the three Saturdays that cover the half term holidays for the City, County and Rutland Schools.
The decision has been made that athletes who have to miss the second league race will have this considered when it comes to selection. Performances in the club races will be considered on this occasion when any selection decisions are being made.
I know this is far from ideal but unfortunately it is the best I can do in the circumstances. Setting the race calendar seems to get more difficult each year to avoid clashes and find available courses!”
